This page is written to match what this site actually is — a small personal project, not a commercial service with a legal team behind it. Where something isn't clearly defined (e.g. governing jurisdiction), it says so plainly instead of writing something that sounds more official than it is.
1. Acceptance of terms
By using this website, you agree to the terms on this page. If you do not agree, please stop using the site.
2. What this service is
This site is a static analysis file-scanning tool that checks files for suspicious characteristics — mismatched file extensions, abnormally high entropy, standard test signatures (EICAR), malicious script patterns, and abnormal file structure — it is not a commercial antivirus program and does not have a malware signature database on the scale of major vendors.
3. No guarantee of scan results
A "Clear" result means "no issues found by the checks available" only. It is not a confirmation that a file is 100% safe.
The system can be wrong in either direction — flagging something safe as dangerous (false positive), or not flagging something that is actually dangerous (false negative).
This site is provided "as-is", with no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or constant availability.
You are responsible for your own decision to open, share, or delete a file — not this site alone.
4. Service limitations
Maximum supported file size is 100 MB per file.
There is no sign-up or user account system.
There is no uptime guarantee or SLA of any kind. The site may go down temporarily or permanently without notice, since it is a personal project.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use this site to:
Test or submit files you do not have the right to possess or access.
Attempt to attack, crash the server, or send abnormal volumes of automated requests to disrupt the service.
Use this site's scan results as legal evidence or an official security certification.
6. Advertising
This site uses Google AdSense to display ads. Details on data collected through advertising are in the Privacy Policy
7. Governing law
This site has not officially specified a governing jurisdiction or applicable law, as it is a personal project that is not a registered legal entity.
