Google Fonts Privacy FAQ
7. โฆษณา — Google AdSense
This page is written to match exactly what the code actually does — not a generic policy template copy-pasted from somewhere else. If the system changes, this document will be updated to match.
1. Who runs this website
This website operates under the domain viruschecker.pages.dev. It's a personal project, not a registered legal entity.
Contact: For questions about privacy or your data, reach out at achiqqzx@gmail.com
2. Files you upload to scan
When you drop a file to scan, it's sent over HTTPS to this site's own processing server (a Cloudflare Pages Function) for analysis. The file is not forwarded to any external service during this process.
The file is processed in temporary memory only — it is never written to disk, a database, or any storage.
No hash of your uploaded file is stored, whether of the file itself or its filename. All data is discarded immediately after the result is sent back to your screen.
Your file's hash is compared only against a list of already-known malware hashes (see section 3). This comparison is a server-side read — your hash is never sent anywhere else.
Scan results are sent back to your browser only. No copy of the result is kept on the server.
In short: your file passes through the server's memory briefly during the scan, then is deleted immediately. Nothing is stored permanently.
3. The malware hash list used for comparison
A separate Worker pulls a list of already-known malicious file hashes from a public source on GitHub into Cloudflare KV every 12 hours, to compare against files users upload. This list is existing public data and has nothing to do with this site's user data.
4. User accounts and personal data
This site has no sign-up or login system, so it does not directly collect names, emails, passwords, or any user identity information.
5. Hosting provider (Cloudflare)
This site is deployed on Cloudflare Pages. As is standard for any hosting provider, Cloudflare keeps basic logs of every request — IP address, access time, browser User-Agent — as part of its own service and security standards. This data is under Cloudflare's control, not this site's directly. Read Cloudflare's policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
6. Google Fonts
This page loads fonts (Space Grotesk, Inter, IBM Plex Mono) directly from Google's servers. This means when you open this page, your browser automatically sends your IP address and User-Agent to Google's servers to download the font files (the current version of Google Fonts doesn't set tracking cookies via font loading, but sending your IP to Google still happens). Read more at the Google Fonts Privacy FAQ
7. Advertising — Google AdSense
This site uses Google AdSense to show ads, which means Google and Google's advertising partners collect and use some of your data via cookies and similar technologies, including:
Cookies to show ads relevant to your interests, based on your browsing history across websites.
Device and browser identifiers used to measure performance and prevent invalid ad clicks.
Approximate location data (city/country level) derived from your IP address.
This site itself does not set cookies to track users. Any cookies that appear in your browser when visiting this site come from a third party (Google AdSense, per section 7), which is outside this site's direct control.
9. Your data rights
Because this site does not permanently store files, hashes, or user identity data, there is no personal data in this site's possession to request access to, correct, or delete. For data collected by Google (via AdSense or Fonts), you can exercise your rights directly with Google through the channels listed in sections 6 and 7.
10. Children
This site is not specifically designed for children under 13, and does not knowingly intend to collect personal data from children.
11. Changes to this policy
If how this site handles data changes (e.g. a new contact channel is added, the ad provider changes, or a new feature affects privacy), this page will be updated and the date above revised.
